RS President's Message
As sisters in the Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we embrace our motto "Charity Never Faileth" . We know the most clear definition of charity is the "pure love of Christ". This love is to be manifested through our many unique talents and gifts. In the April 2009 General Conference, Dallin H. Oaks gave a talk entitled "Unselfish Service" in which he reminds us, quote " Our Savior gave Himself in unselfish service. He taught that each of us should follow Him by denying ourselves of selfish interests in order to serve others."
I pray that we each strive to be worthy of those promptings from the Holy Ghost which will lead us to those who have not yet felt the love of Christ. May we follow those promptings without hesitation over selfish desires of this world. May we extend beyond our comfort zone and love without fear.

This is a fabulous Idea Kathy, anytime you can spread the word of our thoughts, on our savior, it is an unselfish service.. So few people take the time these days to read their scriptures, years ago, parents and grandparents, passed along the teachings of the gospels, but family units are not sitting down at tables, or having family get together or discussion, or long car rides to visit family. All opportunities to talk with your family members as my kids use to say about god and things. I learned so much from my parents and grandparents, just from trip to and from each others houses, and sitting around listening to them discuss what they had learn at church that day. We didn't have internet, barely had TV, and we had telephones, but most of the people I knew were long distance if I was away from home, or with me. We need to reunite our family units. and its still true families that pray together, stay together.. Hope this is what you meant by a Post.. My love in Christ.. Kris..
